We have noted on this page certain information that we know will be of benefit to you as you assist your clients in closing on their new homes.

Our policy is to quote assessments for closing in writing. Please download the quote form, keeping a copy for your future use, and complete the first two sections. Then, fax it to us at 919-532-0421. The assessments will be calculated and faxed back to the number you provide.

Effective January 1, 2009, Talis will charge a $50 certification fee to quote assessments. This is generally a seller's expense, as we are certifying the status of the seller's account at the time of closing.

Certain communities have elected to provide a Resale Disclosure Package for all new homeowners. Talis will overnight the resale book to the buyer after closing. This is a buyer’s expense. Included in the cost of the resale book ($125): the certification fee (which covers the cost of quoting assessments and transferring ownership), complete set of bylaws and covenants, welcome letter that includes Talis’ contacts, the current year’s budget, copy of the assessment quote, introduction to the web site with access information, and the cost of preparing and overnighting the book to the buyer.
